Abstract

It is well-known that mining induces unavoidable aggravation of ecological situation in the form of change of landscape, dust pollution, contamination of underground and ground water, damage to biota, etc. Minimizing ecological deprivation requires well-time information on damage caused by all chains in a productive process flow sheet, to be followed with the respective modification of the production process. It is also of importance to have a generalized characteristic of ecological impact exerted by a mine on the environment as a whole. This target is achievable with application of matrix data display modules, which, aside from other benefits, simplify writing of computational procedures and allow compact data visualization. The authors have developed the matrix model of ecological characteristics of a mining practice based on registration of deviation of actual ecological indexes from standards per each environmental disturbance and in each productive process flow chain over different time periods.
The work has been done under support of the grant No. 13рк-5- 2015 obtained in the framework of the state support of the scientific investigations in the Republic of North Osetiya — Alaniya and under support of the project No. 3851 "The technique of evaluation and rational usage of raw material, water and biological resources in the technogeneous area of the Republic of North Osetiya — Alaniya", executing in the framework of the basic part of the state task.
