Hertwich Engineering. Alumetal commissions rotary tilting-type furnace and belttype ingot caster

Alumetal from Nova Sol, Poland, has successfully commissioned a URTF 14 rotary tilting-type furnace and a water-cooled belt-type ingot caster supplied by Hertwich Engineering, Austria. With this second production line, Alumetal is doubling its production capacity to 66,000 tons per year.
This is already the second belt-type ingot caster from Hertwich that Alumetal has put into operation, demonstrating the customer´s confidence in the technology and competence of Hertwich. The ingot casting line has been in operation since the second quarter of 2013.
Alumetal has commissioned a comparable rotary tilting-type furnace URTF 14 from Hertwich Engineering
