Abstract

Chromite ore deposit "40th KazSSR — Molodezhnoe " has a number of key features of the structural geology, geotechnology largely determine its design and development processes of the anomalous character of strata movement in underworking the western flank of the ore body No 22 underground works. The article describes the geological and geological-structural features of ore and enclosing rock of the field that determine the possibility and feasibility of developing systems with caving, which is confirmed by research, measurement and analytical calculations. Complex studies have shown that, in the field to "40th KazSSR - Molodezhnoe " geological conditions can be applied to systems development caving ore and host rocks. Physical and mechanical properties of the array prefigure his self-destruction under the influence of groundwater and the atmosphere at the mine alone, and even small movements in space by gravity with sufficiently dense filling of the zone of collapse. At the same time is completely eliminated in the formation of an array of unfilled voids pearled and vortex formation on the earth's surface is unlikely. Application development systems with caving of the ore body in the development of No 22 also avoids overgrinding ore mass (which occurs in bursts of breaking the ore), which favorably affects the quality of commercial ore.
