| Abstract |
The article examines the experience of training metallurgists at one of the oldest technical universities in Russia – Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University named after R. E. Alekseev. The article provides historical background, presents the current situation and pressing problems, conditionally divided into groups: problems at the federal level; problems caused by the specifics of metallurgical production, and problems of a specific university. The effective solutions to the above problems are considered in detail. Innovations in the educational process are highlighted. |
