Modernization of ore mining in Gornaya Shoria and Khakassia rests upon blast energy control in different technological processes in a mine. Urgency of the related investigations is conditioned by hazard of induced seismic and dynamic events. Long-term experience of drilling-and-blasting proves interaction between strength of induced events, weight of explosive charges, their pattern and blasting sequence. The paper reports studies into influence of large-scale blasting in rockburst-hazardous underground mines in Gornaya Shoria on the local seismic activity and intensity of dynamic events. Correlations are found between the energy and spread of induced seismic events and the parameters, energy and modes of large-scale explosion of blast-hole charges in ore mining. The obtained correlations and the values of interdependent parameters are the tool to control blast energy under specific ground, technical and dynamic conditions in a mine, aimed to ensure seismic safety of mining and performance of residential and other areas under protection, and are recommended to be used in planning and implementation of blasting in mines in Gornaya Shoria and Khakasia.
