Abstract

The character of physico-chemical processes taking place in process of ore preparation and mineral dressing, and having effect on the composition of formed wastes are analyzed. It is found that wastes formed with the use of flotation technology represent complex humus-clays; organic compounds used as technologic reagents in these composition are of vital importance. The results of flotation agents’ investigation, showing their complex multicomponent composition, were presented. The features of transformation of flotation reagents in water media were analyzed on the example of flotation reagents used in potassium ore dressing. It is found that occurring physico-chemical processes result in essential changes of chemical composition of water-soluble organic matters, wherein original structures of reagents, as well as products of their hydrolytic transformations, are discovered. Polyester, nitrogenous and hydrocarbonic structures, appearance of which can cause critical exceeding of main controlled hydrochemical parameters of water media, can be considered as newly formed compounds.

Researches have been made under partial support by the remedies of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the framework of the project No. 12-T-5-1017 (ONZ-5 program of the Russian Academy of Sciences).
