Abstract

The results of geochemical studies at the Verkhnekamskoye potash field are presented. It was found out that the deformation of the rock mass leads to the output of gases and their migration through areas of natural and man-made fractures in the near-surface part of the section, providing therefore formation of a soil cover anomalies of hydrocarbon gases. Manifestations of the vertical dispersion halos in subsalt hydrocarbons in the overlying part of the section are described. It was established that they are characterized by through features and are associated with seal failure zones of salt and over-salt formations. In the near-surface gas background, they appear as relatively small size anomalies of oil. Usage of express-gas analyzer ECOPROBE-5 for control of technogenesis processes in the geological environment, caused by development of potash and hydrocarbon deposits was substantiated.

The work has been made under support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) and Administration of the Perm territory, projects Nos. 07-05-97607, 09-05-99023, 11-05-96023).
