Hydrocarbonyl processes in the technology of the platinum metals

Fedoseev I. V.

In this book, there are stated the results of author`s long-term studies on the kinetics and the mechanism of the of the carbon monoxide interaction processes with the chlorine complexes` solutions of the platinum metals, as individual, so the complicated, which contain the various combinations of platinum and non-ferrous metals in the chloride and sulphate-chloride environments (hydrocarbonyl processes).

The technological schemes of the release, concentration and division of the platinum metals from the various industrial raw materials are suggested and tested in the laboratory environment. The industrial raw materials are: the solutions of the copper-nickel anode slimes, collective platinum concentrates and intermediate products of

the operating refining, based on the hydrocarbonyl processes.
There is shown the possibility of using them for obtaining the palladium powders with the given physical chemical properties, including the nanosized powders and the applyed catalysts, as well as the obtaining of the dispersion hardened platinum.

There are considered the prospects of using the hydrocarbonyl processes in the technologies, using the platinum metals.
