The technological redivisions and the whole factory hold the control of diamonds extraction via the production control department. According to this, there is held the sampling of the processing products and their further treatment. The X-ray unit for the hand-held extraction of diamonds is the main instrument in the processing of diamondiferous samples. Nowadays, these units have a whole physical and moral depreciation. This article gives a brief description of the implementations of the following effective technologies and equipment for radiometric separation at the processing plants of «ALROSA» JSC:
-The pilot model of X-ray luminescent unit «Photon», for the hand-held extraction of diamonds. This unit is intended for the visual control of dry diamondiferous products;
-The pilot model of recleaning separator LS-OD5 (ЛС-ОД5), which makes it possible to reduce the labour expenditures, due to the increasing of the small class diamonds extraction and the process selectivity;
-The separators LS-D-4-03N (ЛС-Д-4-03Н), LS-OD-50-03N (ЛС- ОД-50-03Н), LS-OD-6 (ЛС-ОД-6) and RGS-1 (РГС-1).
The industrial testings confirmed the usage reasonability of the developed X-ray units, radiometric separators, hardware and software. Due to this, there was obtained the economic effect.

This research work was held with the financial support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation, within the project No. 2010-218-01-001 “Creation of complex innovation environmentally safe technology of extraction and processing of diamondiferous ores in the North”, which is being held with the participation of North-Eastern Federal University named after M. K. Ammosov and “ALROSA” JSC.
