Реферат

The results of geological, petrographic and mineralogical–geochemical study of rocks in three areas of the Nizhnekansky Massif (Southern Yenisey Ridge of the crystalline basement of the Siberian platform) are presented. These areas are composed of highly metamorphic rocks of the folded frame (Yeniseisky area) and granitoids in the central part of the Nizhnekansky Massif (Itatsky and Kamenny areas). The drill core data on the areas Yeniseisky (E1-100, E2-100, E3-100, 1E-300 and R12), Itatsky (1I-500) and Kamenny (1K-700) were used. Within the areas, high- and medium-temperature metasomatic rocks and dislocated metamorphic rocks (silicico-alkaline and magnesiumpotassium metasomatic rocks, greisens, near-contact hornfels), low-temperature hydrothermal-metasomatic alteration (hydromicalization, argillization), talc, chlorite, carbonates and zeolites, and also hypergene alteration in the crust of weathering are allocated and characterized. Deformation-induced transformations of the rocks of two the types are established: the first type rocks was created under conditions of high- and medium temperature (blastocataclasites and blastomylonites), and the second type rock—during the process of near-crack low-temperature hydrothermal-metasomatic alterations (cataclasites and mylonites). For each area, features of mineralogical and deformation-induced transformations are shown. These features usually cardinally change initial matrix of rocks and, thus, have essential impact on their ability to radionuclide retardation. The rocks in the Yeniseisky area are widely represented by low-temperature metasomatic alterations of the lower intensity as compared with the similar transformations in the Itatsky and Kamenny areas. The intensive deformation and metasomatic transformations of the Yeniseisky area rocks are developed at the interfaces of veins, dikes and intrusives of the melanocratic rocks (lamprophyres and ortoamphibolite) whereas in the Itatsky and Kamenny areas these processes are developed in the whole rock mass volume. The obtained data are required for the verification of geological and geophysical research results, determination of filtration, mechanical, thermophysical, sorption and other barrier properties of rocks for the purpose of choosing optimum conditions for constructing the underground research laboratory (URL) and radioactive waste (RAW) isolation facility in the future.
