Реферат

Actually, the cyclical-and-continuous mining technology is one of the most important ways of the scientific-and-technological advance in open pit mining especially at deep levels worldwide. Both researchers and miners concentrate their efforts at improvement of this technology. In the article, the team of the famous scientists proposes a new design for the arrangement of the cyclical-and-continuous technology (CCT) enabling reduction of the dependence of the continuous component (elevating conveyor) on the performance of the cycle component (shovels, dump trucks), transportability of different type rocks by the conveyor in rotation and, as a result, the increase in the annual capacity of the CCT system. The basic idea of the new design is to arrange collection hoppers at the junction of the cycle and continuous components of the open pit mining technology as a part of the crushing and rehandling stations. The required capacity of the collection hoppers is calculated against a few variables, namely, working capacity of the elevating conveyor, duration of the cycle of alternate conveying of a number (as a rule, two) types of rocks, quantity of each type of rocks in the general flow per cycle. The article also gives an analysis of two alternatives developed for the design layout of the crushing and rehandling stations. In conclusion, it is emphasized that not all technological and economic issues related with upward conveying of a number of rock types (for instance, ore and overburden rock) have been handled; these issues are the objective for the study case under particular conditions of application of CCT in open pit mines.
