The main properties of liquids and gases are considered. Principal attention is paid to mathematical description of laminar and turbulent flows of ideal and real media, as well as to applied problems of flow motion in tubes and channels, outflow of liquids and gases from different holes, behaviour of gases in working space of metallurgical furnaces. The main devices applying for organization of motion of gases and liquids are observed, basic equations for calculation of their work characteristics are presented.
