Abstract

The construction of technological roads on Lomonosov ore-dressing and processing enterprise, is realized from the imported crushed stones. This article shares a question of a construction of technological in-pit roads from the carbonate rocks of Arkhangelsk region. The limestone crushed stone is concidered as the road foundation. The increased lumpiness of the crushed stone is 40–120 mm in the natural state from crushed stone rocks of Lomonosov deposit.The range of operations was held: the definition of durability limits on the pressing, winter resistance and grades on the crushability of the carbonate rocks; the researching of the anthropogenic soils on the basis of the breakdown products of carbonate rocks. There was reseached the crushed stone which is seeded from the open pit in the boundaries of the mining lease. The research results show the satisfactory durability properties for the construction of temporary roads in the open pits.

If the extraction of crushed stone construction materials on the deposits of Arkhangelsk region is appropriately organized, “Severalmaz” Company could have an opportunity to decrease the costs on crushing stone purchacing at the expence of the decreasing of transport wastes, as well as to provide more rational usage of local mineral raw materials resources.
