Abstract

In this research lows of vanadium extraction from the sulfuric solutions by N-(2-hydroxy-5-nonylbenzyl)-β,β-dihydroxyethylamin (NBEA-0) and N-(2-hydroxy-5-nonylbenzyl)-β-hydroxyethylmethylamin (NBEA-2) from pH were investigated. In the range pH 3–5 the vanadium distribution coefficients is shown to amount >220 from NBEA-0, that corresponds to 99% extent of recovery, and >150 from NBEA-2, that corresponds to 95%. Vanadium is determined to be extracted as vanadate-ion in range of concentrations Cv0 = 0.5 g/l, and in range of concentrations Cv0 = 5.0 g/l as decavanadate-ion. The obtained data about composition of extracted compounds were certificated by vanadium extraction isoterms and by data of IR-spectroscopy. Of the base of investigations the equations of the vanadium extraction from the sulfuric solutions by NBEA extractants were offered. Vanadium reextraction by alkaline and ammonia solutions were investigated. The researches by multiple using extractans were carried out. Extractant is stable during 8 cycles of extraction-reextraction with the extent of recovery about 90% by the use of NBEA-2.
