Реферат

The manufacture of aluminium is one of bases of economic, technical and technological development of a modern society. Tendencies in development of a science and technics show, that in XXI century new constructional materials, and aluminium-based alloys doped with such scattered rare elements, as scandium, hafnium, zirconium, will be in great demand and will take one of leading places because of their unique properties. Now, unfortunately, they have not taken yet a proper place in the industry as there is a number of restrictions and one of important — the cost of the alloying additive. The rather rich with scandium raw material — the residue of processing bauxite into alumina, till now is not used anywhere in the world because of technological complexity of extraction of scandium. The large-capacity mud depots continue to increase, poisoning an environment. The offered decision of block processing of the red mud can help to decrease damage for the earth, while the recycling of carbonic and other dangerous gases, necessary provided in extraction of scandium will considerably reduce a poisoning of an atmosphere. The essence of the proposed technology of scandium extraction is in the treatment by soda solution the pulp of sludge, directed from the hydrochemical branch of alumina production in the sludge depository. Several portions of red mud is successively treated at the same soda solution. As a result, the solution includes the part of the compounds of scandium, which is in the process of autoclaving bauxite treatment with circulating alkali-aluminate solution at a temperature of ~240 oС was extracted, and then adsorbed on the extended surface of sludge residue.
