Abstract Luminophors, representing firm solutions Y2O3–La2O3–Gd2O3, Y2O2S–La2O2S–Gd2O2S and YVO4–GdVO4, activated by Eu, can be received by various methods. Influence of composition of matrixes and concentration of the activator on optical-luminescent properties of crystalline phosphorus with red color of luminescence is described and optimum conditions of synthesis of luminophors are offered.
