Abstract High-strength constructive aluminum alloy B96ts-3pch (В96ц-3пч) is one of perspective materials for aircraft industry. The experiments realized at the plant for optimization of chemical composition of the alloy, preparation parameters of the melt and foundry have allowed to develop the technology providing fabrication of high-quality large-sized round (680 mm in diameter) and flat-shaped ingots (with section 335х1340 mm and 440х1180 mm).
