Abstract

Activated charcoal containing noble metals is poured onto the surface of a carbonate melt. Carbon is oxidized on the surface and in the carbonate melt without its carryover to the atmosphere. Fine particles of noble metals are accumulated in the collector metal. The technology ensures complete extraction of noble metals from carbon sorbents.
