Abstract

Extraction of baddeleite concentrate from dump tailings after magnetic separation of II finishing stage is examined. Baddeleite concentrate (94.8%) has been extracted via leaching of wastes by diluted acids with consequent sulphatization and magnetic separation. The conditions of cleaning the wastes with removal of radionuclides via sulphatization are determined.
