Abstract
The use of binary extracting agents based on di-(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid and various organic amines for the separation of lanthanide ions (III) is investigated. It is established that solutions of di-(2-ethylhexyl)phosphate organic amines in nonpolar organic solvents extracte inorganic salts of lanthanides from water phase in accordance with the binary extraction patterns. Isotherms of extraction of halogenides and lanthanides nitrates (III) are linear at the initial segment, the interphase transfer of cation and anion of an inorganic salt is conjugate, lanthanides reextraction can be carried out by water. The distribution coefficients of lanthanides vary widely depending on the nature of inorganic anion of the extractable salt and amine in the binary extracting agent. Studied binary extracting agents are characterized by high separation factors of lanthanides.
