| Abstract | The problems associated with updating the normative base for the methods of analysis of precious metals and their alloys are considered. The procedure for drafting national standards for methods of precious metals analysis currently used in the industry is described. A brief overview of the regulatory documentation regarding gems and precious metals analysis methods developed with participation of the Russian State depository for precious metals and gems (Gokhran of Russia) is presented. A 10 years' work on renewal of the normative base for precious metals and gems is summed up. |
