Abstract
The problems of regeneration and cleaning of solutions after gas-cleaning of electrolysers for aluminium production with removal of sulphur compounds have been considered. The overview of the existing methods of waste gas cleaning has been realized. It is shown that the problem of sulphur utilization is critical in all cleaning techniques. Possibility of usage of calcium compounds for regeneration and cleaning of gas-purifying solutions with sulphur removal has been considered. The calculation of thermodynamic probability of reaction flowing on the base of Temkin—Shvartsman method has been done. The principal possibility of reaction flowing has been shown. Necessity of researching kinetic of reaction flowing has been shown.
