Abstract

The technology of pyrite copper, copper-zinc, lead-zinc polymetallic ores processing and its modern state analysis is shown. The main stages of progress of technological processes allocated and specificity of the material composition which indicated the refractory raw mineral materials. The main directions for studies and technological solutions that enhance the complexity of rational nature management and processing of main types of mineral resources have been defined. The developed technologies allow to obtain rich selective concentrates and polymetallic products for further pyrohydrometallurgical processing by individual technological schemes. Over the long period of deposits exploitation, a considerable amount of scientific and practical studies of different types of raw materials has been developed. Technological properties of tennantite and varieties of pyrite, pyrrhotite have been revealed as well as their influence on flotation activity of sulfide minerals. The conditions and regularities of flotation activity decrease for pyrite, pyrrhotite and sphalerite in copper cycle have been studied. The optimal values of pulp pH, depressors concentration, types and combinations of weak and strong selective collectors in different flotation cycles have been studied and established. The regimes of flotation of minerals with different ration of pyrite and pyrrhotite in the ore have been developed. The operations of separation of easily floated minerals and hard-to-recover polymineral complexes and also free fine grains into individual products for further processing by individual schemes have been determined. The combined technology has been developed for rational nature management based on deep opening and selective isolation of mineral components in different operations of grinding, flotation, thermal processing and others, which allows to obtain high quality concentrates and pyritepyrrhotite copper-zinc products for individual processing by hydro metal lurgical schemes.
