We obtained some new coal sorbents, modified by sulfur- and phosphorousbearing collectors: oxypropyl ether of diisopropyldithiophosphorous acid (Afm), oxypropyl ether of dibuthildithiocoal acid (OPBK), 1, 2-di(1, 3, 5-dithiazin-5il) methane (MTKh) and 1, 2-di(1, 3, 5-dithiazin-5il) ethane (ETKh). We considered the possibility of the flotation and sorption reextraction of fine gold during the concentration of gold-bearing products using the obtained sorbents. Our investigations used the samples of fine-grained final tailings of copper-zinc ore (Gai deposit) (0.8 g/t of Au) with addition of pyrite (–0.04 mm) with artificialy sprayed gold FeS2(Au). Gold was sprayed on pyrite particles by reduction adsorption from H[AuCl4] solution. X-ray electron microscopy showed the selective adsorption of ultra-fine particles of FeS2(Au) on sorbents, modified by ETKh and Afm. Comparative flotation of ore-mineral mixture (~11 g/t of Au) with initial coal sorbent and sorbents, modified by Afm, OPBK, MTKh and ETKh, showed the advantage of the sorbents, containing ETKh and Afm. In comparison with the process, when kerosene is used in flotation, introduction of ETKh-modified sorbent in pulp during the tail flotation allowed the increase of gold content in concentrate by 6.4%, while gold extraction in foam flotation product allowed the increase of gold content in concentrate by 7.3%. For the first time, we defined the ability of coal sorbents, modified by hardly soluble complexing agents ETKh and Afm to accumulate fine gold-bearing particles selectively, and, as a result, to provide the increasing of fine gold extraction during the flotation and sorption concentration of goldbearing products.
