Quantitative parameters for optimal condition of collectorless and usual flotation were elaborated for such copper minerals as sulfides, selenides, tellurides and copper sulphursalts, containing arsenic, arsenic and iron, antimony, silver or bismuth. Optimal conditions for collectorless and usual flotation of oxidizing minerals are the same. The main requirement to minerals is the isoelectric state and hydrophobicity of their surface. Values of the stationary potential of mineral surface in this case are within the limits of its passivation beginning and transpassivation. Their optimal values for collectorless and usual flotation are defined by a difference of potentials values of the minerals oxidation onset and formation of oxidation products of metal (metals) on their surface. They can be reached in practical conditions as a result of regulation of Eh-potential of pulp by its electrochemical processing, application of reagents-oxidizers or reagentsreducers, adjustable conditioning with gases possessing oxidizing or reducing ability. Reliability of developed ideas and received results proves to be true by research results of collectorless flotation of copper minerals, industrial practice of collectorless flotation of copper sulfides from copper-pyrite ores in China and results of industrial researches of usual flotation of copper sulfides from polymetallic ores with collectors in Sweden. Use of the received research results allow to define optimum conditions of collectorless or usual flotation of copper minerals available in ores and to provide optimization and intensification of their flotation with maintenance of the established values of Eh-potential of pulp by known methods. The received results can be useful also in elaboration of modes of selective flotation of ores for their realization in various conditions.
