Abstract

This paper considers the flotation properties of collecting and foaming acetylene alcohol based agents DMIPEK (ДМИПЭК) and DK-80 (ДК-80). The basic formulas and methods of flotation agent obtaining are given, and their flotation behavior peculiarities are shown. During the flotation of sulfide gold-bearing non-ferrous metal ores, the reagents DMIPEK and DK-80 show the properties of selective additional foaming and high-active collectors. These reagents were applied during the flotation of copper and copper-zinc gold-bearing ores of New Sibay, Nizhnaya Zalezh and Mayskoe deposits and gold-bearing ore of Akabakai Mining and Processing Plant. Results of investigation of this application are shown in this paper. Usage of the reagents DMIPEK and DK-80 increases the metal extraction in concentrates. Finding the reasons of extraction increase needed the quantum-chemical calculations of mechanism and force of the reagent DMIPEK interacting with non-ferrous metal sulfides, which were carried out by defining the stabilization energy of the forming complexes. The acetylene alcohol based reagents DMIPEK and DK-80 passed the laboratory and pilot testings as selective collectors during the flotation of sulfide ores of non-ferrous and noble metals.
This scientific work was carried out with the financial participation of the Federal Target Program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, project No. RFMEFI57514X0085 “Combined technology of complex processing of complex ores and technogenic raw materials of nonferrous and noble metals. The Federal Target Program “Investigations and developments by the priority ways of development of the scientific and technological complex of Russia for the period of 2014–2020”.
