Abstract

A brief analysis and justification of science and technology trends and applications’ relevance requiring fast decisions and development to the world-class technology is provided. It is shown that the analyzed areas and scientific and practical problems caused by the need of improving or maintaining the efficiency of mining and metallurgical industries manufacturing. Due to generalization and deep analysis of the state of science and technology for the automation of these industries, the main directions and objectives of accelerated research’s development, experimental research and implementation of advanced engineering technical solutions in terms of sanctions are stated. The article presents the options for import substitution and implementation of new approaches based on the experience of JSC “Soyuztsvetmetavtomatika” and theoretical research results ICS RAS (laboratory No. 41) obtained at the Institute of Control Sciences of RAS, on the  automation of complex ore mining and smelting facilities. The essence of this approach is the development and use of intelligent numerical schemes of the new generation through the use of inductive technological knowledge’s virtual sensors, emerging and updating in real time based on the data mining process monitoring, in particular, dynamic clustering.
