urgent at the present stage of mechanical engineering development. In particular, one of the most urgent problems is power saving in the time of mass reduction, which is primarily achieved by the use of modern high-strength aluminum alloys. The main methods of obtaining of permanent links for this group of materials are different methods of fusion welding. However, these methods have significant disadvantages (presence of a stable oxide film on the surface, high probability of appearance of holes and cracks in the connection, heterogeneity of base metal and metal compounds, etc), which actualizes the search of alternative methods of obtaining of permanent links. Besides, the issue of obtaining of permanent links of piping systems is urgent, because in most cases, they are the most critical elements of the system. This article explores the process and conditions for the formation of solid-phase permanent link on example of aluminum alloys D16 (Д16) and AMg5 (АМг5), using the method, based on application of a tight fit, allowing to obtain a connection, equal in strength to the base metal, and excluding any defects, typical for fusion welding. This article presents the research results of tightness impact in connection with formation of one-piece solid-phase compounds and results of microstructural analysis zone of obtained compound, which allowed to establish the possibility of formation of permanent connection, using the specified method on hole-shaft blanks, and to identify future research ways.
