Abstract

This article presents an information about the stage of startup-setup operations and mastering of briquetting technology at Kola Mining and Metallurgical Company. According to the practice of mastering of such a difficult technological complex as briquetting area, there was shown, that adaptation of technology to certain production conditions is required in spite of detail developmental work of different schemes and various preliminary testings. The gained experience and achieved results make it possible to carry out the evaluation of efficiency of completed pre-design or design works, and correctness of adopted technical solutions and arrangement schemes. The gained experience has also shown that supplement of hightechnological equipment, together with complex system of automatic process control, requires the high level of training and responsibility of not only the technological personnel, but also the IT specialists, service of instrumentation and automated control systems, mechanical engineers and electricians (including the operating service personnel). Nowadays, the briquetting area is accepted for industrial operation. According to this, the industrial testings are carried out together with the development and adjustment of parameter process chart.
