Реферат

This article summarizes the results of scientific and production activity of academician I. N. Fridlyander in physical metallurgy, development, manufacturing and application field of aluminium, beryllium and magnesium alloys and aluminium-polymer composite laminates. Academician paid essential attention to the following alloy groups:
— high-strength and super high-strength alloys of traditional Al – Zn – Mg – Cu system, and Al — Li alloys with lower density;
— long service life alloys of “duralumin” type and high-modulus alloys of Al – Be system;
— laminates of the SIAL type (СИАЛ — fiberglass plastic and aluminium).
Academician I. N. Fridlyander was also conductive to development of other groups of alloys: heat resistant, technological, weldable, cryogenic and powder. He also paid much attention to manufacturing technology of semi-finished products and application of components (including the aging problems).
