The article considers the improvement of advanced production technology of superconductors. The core sectors and prospects for practical applications of superconductivity are indicated, along with researching of the possibility of industrial development of superconductors in Russia. This article contains the analysis of possibility of adopting of high tech marketing methods and superconductivity market. The particular superconductivity market is specific, as well as a whole high-technology market. Access to the superconductivity market is determined by long-term contacts on terms of a contractor. Such type of market organization is founded on the cluster principle, which restricts the application of traditional marketing methods. Clustering makes it possible to coordinate the interactions between the buying and the selling centers of superconductive products. This study offers to use the technology marketing as one of the coordinating tools of operation of the cluster of superconductivity development. The technical characteristic and cost-effectiveness were identified as the most important factors in the interaction between the buying and selling centers. The results of superconductors usage are far superior results of copper conductors usage, which ensures the attraction of buying centers Nevertheless the excessive cost of superconducting materials is an obstacle for the formation of the buying center. But it is only a matter of time — the cost of the superconductors will be less than the cost of copper-based conductors in 2015 according to the forecasts. In addition, consumers are willing to pay a high price for a much larger critical current, in care of possibility of usage of less superconducting wire and, thus, of lower of the total cost of the project. The article revealed that the most potentially beneficial commercial application of superconductivity is related to the energy generation, electricity transmission and efficient use of electricity.
