Tsvetnye Metally
The second issue of the journal «Tsvetnye Metally» (Non-ferrous metals) (February 2017) shows the issues of theory and practice of ore dressing, production and processing of non-ferrous metals, complex use of crude ore, economics and management of production.
The article by T. I. Yushina, O. A. Malyshev and S. A. Shchelkunov shows the results of investigations of application of acetylene alcohols during the flotation of copper and copper-zinc gold-bearing ores of New Sibay, Nizhnaya Zalezh and Mayskoe deposits and gold-bearing ore of Akabakai Mining and Processing Plant.
The article by A. V. Sviridov, D. P. Ordinartsev and V. V. Sviridov tells about the microflotation extraction of vanadium from acid solutions by cationic SAScollector. Flotation extraction of vanadium from the cleansing solutions of the Chusovoy Metallurgical Works proved that Mg, Na, Ca and K ions do not make any obstacles to vanadium extraction.
The item «Benefication» also tells about the gold benefication on rinsing tools with deep sluices.
The item «Heavy Non-ferrous Metals» tells about the processing of zinc concentrates.
The article by V. V. Kurbatkina, E. I. Petsera, A. G. Bodyan and E. A. Levashov investigates the peculiarities of self-spreading high-temperature synthesis with a stage of preliminary mechanical activation in Ti – Al system with functional additives.
The article by E. S. Prusov, V. A. Kechin and A. V. Kireev shows the research of zinc alloys with aluminum content from 25 to 40% (wt.) and composites based on them and containing 5% (wt.) of titanium in the form of dispersed intermetallic compounds.
