Fractionating crystallization

Equilibrium of phases in the system “liquid – solid body” for binary and triple systems is examined. Kinetics of origination and growth of crystals is analyzed. Crystallization is considered for the cases with and without usage of solvents. Areas of usage of different methods of fractional crystallization are analyzed. Fractional crystallization at high temperatures is examined in details. The list of organic substances that can be cleaned via crystallization is presented.
