Anodes of aluminium electrolyzers

The wide data regarding choosing initial electrode materials, production of “green masses”, vibro-forming and roasting of anodes are presented. Especial attention is paid to the technology of maintenance of anodes in electrolyzers with self-roasting and preliminary roasted  anodes. Durable experience of VAMI – All-Russian Aluminium and Magnesium Institute – in the field of designing, putting into practice and operation of production facilities for anode masses and roasted anodes has been used during preparing these materials, as well as recent achievements of foreign industry in the field of technological science and development of up-to-date equipment for anode production.
