The grounds of radiation technology in production of building materials (a manual)

Grounds of usage of high technologies in building industry, engineering ecology, metallurgy, mining etc. applying accelerator of charged particles and radio-nuclide sources of radiation are considered. Main attention is paid to the technology of manufacturing composite radiation-modified building materials, strengthening of metal surface, defectoscopy, decontamination of waste waters, bilogical cleaning of drinking water etc. The methods of calculation of the main parameters of the units are presented, the examples of constructive solutions are given. The main aspects of organization and control of radiation safety in realization of radiation technologies for building industry, ecological municipal services and at industrial objects are presented.
