Minerals and mineral resource base of Georgia

The monograph makes attempt to look at the mineral resources of a separate country as at some complete aggregate and to describe not only main geological and technological properties, but also to determine exactly their economical essence. Material is divided into three parts. The first part includes brief geological and metallogenic review of Georgia, based on the achievements of up-to-date regional geology and new practical material. Additionally, the main ore regions of Georgia are extracted on the base of principally new qualitative and metallogenic investigations. The second part is devoted to the brief monographic description of Georgian mineral resources; the examples of the most important deposits are presented. However, the tables include the data about resources of all deposits being on the state balance, and their important technological properties. The third part presents economical estimation of minerals and mineral resource base of the country. The author proposed principally new method for economical estimation of mineral resources in the earth bowels and econometrical analysis of increase of resources.
