Exhibition General& Review

SF EXPO, the most professional and quickly-developing surface finishing exhibition, has become one of the biggest two surface exhibitions in China and the first UFI approved surface expo in the world. The 10^th Guangzhou International Surface Finishing, Electroplating and Coating Exhibition has been held in Guangzhou on May 21^st-23^rd, 2013. The EXPO attracted surface suppliers from over 200 leading enterprises such as Atotech, SurTec, Wagner, Nordson, Uyemuba, Xinliguang, Huan Yu, Norilsk, Chemetall, FengFan, ChingFeng, SanFu, Etsing, etc. Nearly 16,000 buyers come to the three-day EXPO. All visitors, enterprises, associations and media speak highly of the EXPO and its concurrent summit, new product launch and ceremonies. It was including International Symposium on Surface Finishing Industry Developmentand Friendship Party for Global Associations, Surface Finishing New Products & Technology Promotion Conference, Awarding Ceremony for Outstanding Surface Finishing Enterprises, etc.

In recent years, there is a strong economic and manufacturing trend in South-West China. Upon the request of surface suppliers in this area, the Chongqing International Surface Finishing, Electroplating, and Coating Exhibition 2014 is under preparation, based on the successful experience of organizing SF EXPO.

Chongqing Economy and Industries

In March 4, 2011, the Cheng-Yu Economic Circle has been officially approved as the fourth pole of China economy and it is to be developed as an important economic centre in West China, a modernized industry base and one of the strongest economic regions in China.

Chongqing is the only municipality in West China. It is also the State centre city, the important modern manufacturing base and high-tech industry base, as well as the economic and financial centre in the upstream of the Yangtze River and the South-West China. Along with the Great Western Development, China industry has transferred from east to west gradually. Favorable policies, convenient transportation and better facilities attract quick investments and World top 500 enterprises.

Chongqing is the biggest production base for conventional weapons, which can produce almost all modern weapons except planes and spacecrafts. Automobile is the traditional industry of Chongqing. A number of world top 500 enterprises and automobile producers, such as Honeywell, Thyssenkrupp, Textron, Magna, Chang’an, Lifan and Jialing, set their production bases here. Chongqing is also the biggest global laptop and computer parts manufacturing base which includes HP, Acer, Asus, Wistron, Compal, Quanta, Inventec, FOXCONN and Pegatron.
